The company is the creation of Natasha Blanchard, who has been working within the Kitchen and Bathroom Industry for almost a decade. Whilst working within the town of Bradford on Avon, Natasha discovered a high demand for quality kitchens coupled with a professional service. Through the years Natasha has gained a huge knowledge and understanding of how to apply a customer's practical needs and wants along with wish list items to fit within their design. Combined with the balance of budget and styles, Natasha can help create the ultimate beautiful kitchen.
Based on Silver Street in the town, Formosa is hard to miss as you pass by. The bold, impressive and inventive displays pull you into the showroom and inspire you with creative ideas and the use of colour and light.
Bradford on Avon is the idyll place for clients to enjoy and have a relaxed wander through the historic town with its small streets and range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants before visiting the Kitchen showroom. Formosa aims to make the client feel welcome and relaxed which ties in with the gentle pace of the town.
When first visiting the showroom, Formosa can gage an idea of what the client is proposing to do. Whether it is a complete new kitchen refit or just freshening up the existing kitchen with new Worktops, doors or appliances, Formosa can give advice and knowledge of what could be achieved. With the selection of displays, there is surely something for everyone.
Once the client has made an initial enquiry, Formosa can arrange a visit to your home or site, to view and measure up the space. This visit is crucial, as during this time Formosa can gain a more in depth and detailed understanding of what the customer requires taking into account their lifestyle, taste and other factors such as the period of the property, the natural light available and to who and how the area will be used.
Once Formosa has gathered all the information required, the design can start to evolve. During the designing stage, Formosa will look at all areas that need to be taken into consideration, from how the space is to be used to who will be using it and trying to incorporate any particular desires and wants. Formosa will try to obtain a good balance between quality, styles, practicalities and budget.
Once the initial designs are completed using the latest 3D aided computer design, Formosa will arrange a presentation in the showroom, where the proposed layouts and ideas will be explained and discussed and a preliminary product quotation will be devised. A selection of samples will generally be on hand, so the client can have a hands on approach with looking and playing around with different door finishes, worktops and handles. Formosa can also propose other necessities such as flooring, splash backs and accessories. Formosa always explains to the client that the initial presentation and proposed layout is a good starting point and from here between the customer and the shop they can together build on the design and quotation to reach the clients envisaged dream kitchen.
When the client is happy with the design a survey can be arranged with one of Formosa's in house installation teams, where upon they will visit the clients home or site and carry out the survey. Once the survey is complete an installation estimate and time scale will be put together and discussed with the customer. Once this is complete and the customer feels all their requirements are being fulfilled an order can be placed and the client can sit back, relax and await for their very own beautiful kitchen to be installed.

Wood - Again using local companies, Formosa has a vast choice of wooden worktops. Whether it is solid whole pieces with natural grains made of walnut or cherry, or whether it is a block oak top you require, Formosa is able to source the best materials to suit the customers' requirements.
Stone - Using a local supplier and manufacturer of natural and composite stones, we have a huge selection of different types of stone that can be used within the kitchen. From granites to marble, to a composite stone such as Silestone with antibacterial properties actually incorporated within the stone itself, there is something for everyone.
Laminate/Formica - To accompany the kitchen ranges, Formosa can also offer a great selection of laminate worktops, from contemporary Zebrano Block Gloss to Granite effect tops or Sparkle Gloss for something a little more fun. There is also a range of matching upstands and splashbacks.
Tiles - Formosa has a large choice of tiles to choose from, using one of Europe's largest ceramic and tile manufacturers Porcelanosa. There is a selection of ceramic and porcelain, floor and wall tiles to look at in the showroom as well as a catalogue with lots more choice. Formosa Kitchens are based in the centre of Bradford on Avon, approximately 8 miles from Bath. It can be accessed via the A363 from Bath or Trowbridge, or following the B3108 off the A36. Formosa Kitchens is situated on Silver Street, a couple of doors down from Allin Engineering Products hardware store and opposite Ruby Red Off licence at the end of The Shambles- you will be sure to not miss it!
Bradford on Avon has a choice of car parks from short to long stay. There is also free street parking for an hour.
